African Skins

             Many of our finest pieces come from deep inn the central regions of Africa.  These exotic African pieces are as follows.

             Our Burchell`s Zebra Skin Rugs (Equus Burchelli) are hand picked and carefully selected for color, size and grade. Burchell`s Zebra (Equus Burchelli) is not endangered or illegal to sell or own in the United States if legally imported by a company holding the appropriate U.S. Fish and Wildlife license and documentation of Import, Burchell`s Zebra Skin Rugs are culled and regulated by the African government for the legal export of Zebra skin rugs .

             There are several deer-like animals from this region, of varying size and shape. 

Spring Bok- small, usually tan and white pelt, with a fanned line of fur running down the back like a flag

Bles Buck- small to medium, Rich brown with light-brown and red-brown highlights

Gems Buck- grey base with black lines, size of a cow elk 

Impala- Light-brown and white pelt, small and fast with a sleak build

Nyala- biege with white lines running veticaly down it`s back

Kudu- A large deer-like animal with dark-grey fur

             Our final African piece is the great African Wildebeast.  A large buffalo-like creature, this is certainly an extraordinary and unique pelt.  It`s dark-brown fur is always best at making that great room perfect.
